Supported Living 16+
A positive next step towards independence.
Young people deserve a stable base, a voice in their plans and practical support to build the life they want. Our young people’s pathway focuses on everyday skills, education, relationships, wellbeing and preparation for adulthood.

Your support, in practice
What we can
help with.
- Practical cooking, budgeting and household skills
- Support to explore education, training and work
- Building positive routines and support networks
- Planned transitions that involve the young person
Taking the time
to get it right.
We consider every referral individually, with the young person and relevant professionals. Support for 16- and 17-year-olds is a distinct supported-accommodation pathway, with age-appropriate safeguarding and applicable registration requirements. Adult supported living and regulated personal care are separate arrangements. We confirm the right service, suitability and arrangements before accepting a placement; our adult CQC rating should not be read as an Ofsted rating.

About this
kind of support.
Who can make a referral for a young person?
Local authorities, social workers and professionals can contact us to discuss an assessed referral. Young people and families are also welcome to ask about the pathway.
Is support for under-18s the same as adult care?
No. The legal framework, safeguarding responsibilities and service arrangements differ. These must be confirmed for the individual referral before support is agreed.
